The rain and lower temperatures settled in quickly after school started, but not before the first day coffee events and the Hoedown enjoyed some perfect weather. Thanks for everyone’s support! During the first week of school, the PTA decided to make the annual membership drive a little more fun with a drawing for a brand new Kindle tablet to a lucky new membership or renewal.

Dana Crawford is the lucky winner of our Helman PTA September Membership Drive drawing for a new Kindle! Congratulations, Dana! Thank you to ALL who showed their support and joined the PTA this past month!  Our PTA is a powerful means by which we enrich our children’s education and our school community. If you’ve not yet joined, we welcome new members anytime.

And if you want to just check out a meeting, we’re in the school library every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30. Everyone is always welcome, regardless of membership status!  Join us!
